Hello, sweeties! I hope you all had a great start to the week. I surely did, as I started my day with a gym session which gave me so much energy. I absolutely love it x
Not long ago I ran out of foundation and I wanted to try out something new so I went for Lancome’s Teint Miracle foundation, which I have fallen in love with as soon as I had tried it on. At the moment they have a promotion so that when you purchase two products you receive a gift set worth over £99. Hypnôse Doll Eyes mascara was my second choice as I liked the wide-eyed look it creates. Gel Éclat Clarifying Cleanser Pearly Foam (retail price: £22.50) is part of the gift set and now that I have used it I can say that it is definitely one of the best deals I could get.
When looking for foundation, I knew I want one that would leave me with hydrated, natural, radiant skin. And this is exactly what Teint Miracle foundation in porcelain shade does for me. It has a thin, fluid, amazingly silky texture that’s easy to blend and provides a finish that feels matte, but leaves skin with a subtle, luminous glow. Other aspects that counted for me when deciding to go for this foundation were the oil-free formula and the SPF 15. Finding the right foundation for our skin type and colour is always tricky and I must admit I have tried many throughout the years, but now I guess I’ve found the one. It retails for £28.50 which is definitely expensive compared to drugstore foundations, but for me it is worth it and I must admit I love the luxurious feel on my skin.
Hypnôse Doll Eyes mascara provides lengthening and separation, but if you expect volume or thickness then this is not the right choice for you. The cone shaped brush is dense with thin plastic bristles and works well for reaching corner and bottom lashes which provides the illusion of a wide-eyed look. The drawbacks of this mascara are that it is quite expensive selling for £22.50 and it also has quite a strong smell, even though it is nice. I can’t say it is the one for me but it does its job so I am happy with it.
For the photos I have only applied Teint Miracle foundation, Hypnôse Doll Eyes mascara and the lip gloss received as part of the gift set. I would love to hear if you have any suggestions in terms of foundation or mascara. If you have tried the ones I have reviewed then please share any thoughts. Have a lovely week and remember to smile, life is beautiful x
