Hello, sweeties x I hope you had a wonderful Easter Sunday. It feels like not long ago we were celebrating New Year’s and here we are now mid-way through spring... I was lucky enough to be at home during this festive period, because I got the chance to spend time with my family and also to be looked after as I just caught a cold and spent most of today in bed, drinking fresh juices and tea... Hope I’ll get better by tomorrow as I’m heading back to London, after a short stop in Paris (trying to stay positive at the thought of treating myself with some delicious macarons). I shot this lovely MANGO outfit not long ago, during the weekend after a stroll through Borough Market in London.
Being there I couldn’t help but find the umbrella street, which is so cute with all those colours hanging in the air. The market is such an amazing place to visit... there are so many choices when it comes to food and drinks. Veggies, meat, fresh juices, organic food, sweets, and so on... believe me they’re worth trying. Plus there were so many people, both locals and tourists. It is definitely a great spot to visit. So after spending some time going around the market and discovering food wonders, we decided to shoot this outfit close to the place, so we can also use the umbrella street as the colours were matching my look.
I found myself shopping in MANGO a while ago and it didn’t take long to fall in love with thissoft viscose ankle length skirt and the colourful jacket you can see in the photos. This outfit made me think of the bohemian style... romantic, comfortable, colourful, soft fabrics and beautiful patterns. Wearing such bold colours gave me so much energy and I absolutely love this look... so chic, feminine and playful. Hope you heart it too x
PS: “And like flowers in the fields, that make wonderful views, when we stand side-by-side in our wonderful hues... We all make a beauty so wonderfully true. We are special and different, and just the same, too! So whenever you look at your beautiful skin, from your wiggling toes to your giggling grin... Think how lucky you are that the skin you live in, so beautifully holds the "You" who's within.” (Michael Tyler, The Skin You Live In)
