Feathers Boutique’s 40th anniversary was indeed a unique experience. Spending a day in Feathers felt like a fairytale. From trying on some gorgeous pieces to having an illustration done by Dennis Nothdruft, the talented illustrator of the Fashion and Textile Museum and chatting to the lovely Feathers team about the latest trends made me feel at home and very welcome.

This enchanting high-end luxury boutique is situated in Knightsbridge and Feathers has remained at the fore of London’s luxury fashion destinations for over forty years. A unique blend of emerging and heritage brands can be found at Feathers, such as Jil Sander, Alexander McQueen, Alexander Wang and Moschino to name but a few. I must admit I was head over heels with the creations on display. From the more casual to the avant-garde, there was something to meet any fashionista’s taste.

You can imagine I’ve taken loads of photos of the breathtaking pieces, however I’ve chosen to share with you the ones that most inspired me. Also, I absolutely loved the Rochas coat and Alexander McQueen bag and heels I tried on (you can see them in some of the pictures). I suggest you better go and discover yourself all the treasures hidden at Feathers. Also, if you want to combine shopping and art then you definitely need to pay them a visit between 1st-30th September, as Jay McLaughlin has been commissioned to create a photography exhibition as part of the boutique’s 40th anniversary celebrations.

PS: With the occasion of the wonderful Coco Chanel's 131st birthday remember that ‘a girl should be two things: classy and fabulous’...
