MAJORCA & A FLOPPY HAT
‘You can flirt with a fan in your hand.
You can flirt holding a cigarette, too.
But a woman can really flirt with a hat’
The past few years in London have definitely been a learning curve for me… a journey that allowed me to try, fail and try again, to fall in love with life, people and places, to change my mind on things, to flirt with clothes and colours, to discover new passions and I couldn’t be more grateful for everything I’ve experienced so far… sometimes we might find ourselves struggling or getting lost for a second, that happens and it’s ok… I guess we need a break from the routine we’re used to. Some of the things I do when that happens is go out and have fun, travel, find a new book that takes my breath away and I can’t let go of until I finish reading it, stroll through the city and watch people or take photos, go shopping etc. And then I start all over again… falling in love with everything around me, getting excited over little things, dreaming big, having hopes, smiling from cheek to cheek… I was not planning on writing about these things, but when I looked back at the photos and I started typing that’s what came naturally so I said why not.
The pictures are from the holiday spent in Majorca and even though it was not long ago it definitely feels like forever. London has been quite cheeky lately… from 2 days of lovely warm weather to rain all day long. On the day of the shoot I was absolutely boiling and the hat in navy was not helping but hey, a hat is a hat! I’ve always said that by wearing a hat you become somebody else, you feel different, better, more confident and why? I suppose it’s the fact that you’re turning heads and that people are admiring you for being brave enough to wear a hat.
Remember to smile, believe in yourself and always remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel even though you might not believe that until you find it yourself! xoxo
