The winter season will officially set foot in London in a few hours and even so I must admit autumn has been so good to us, lovely colours, mild temperatures and not as much rain as some of you may think of. I feel quite lucky to still be able to go out without a coat at times, however I always make sure to be wearing fabrics that I know will keep me warm such as cashmere and wool. As I’ve always loved quality, simplicity and elegance, it’s such a pleasure to be introducing you to Winser London, a new yet promising brand and to also be presenting you some of the lovely pieces from their A/W14 collection starting with this post.
Kim Winser OBE is one of the UK’s most internationally renowned and inspirational business women, having been appointed as Marks & Spencer’s youngest divisional director and first female in the commercial field. Kim was also CEO at Pringle (expert in knitwear) and CEO & President of Aquascutum (more British heritage luxury!). Being a confident and passionate woman always chasing after her dreams, Kim Winser launched her own business in February 2013 which directly supplies via e-commerce and limited pop-up shops, resulting in luxurious quality with an efficient service at affordable prices. The Winser London collection, fronted by supermodel Yasmin Le Bon, is ‘simply designed, beautifully cut and excellent quality’.
The outfit you can see in the photos is simple yet elegant, comfortable and extremely warm due to the luxurious fabrics used. The silk dress and cashmere coatigan are definitely a worthwhile investment and must-have pieces due to their versatility. The silk dress can easily be paired up with nude heels for an effortlessly chic look that you could show off on a summer evening out, while the coatigan could be handy on a chilly spring day as you could wear it with a pair of trousers and a shirt.
PS: Keep an eye on the blog as some of the upcoming posts will feature more of the wonderful creations from Winser London’s A/W14 collection. Happy December, everyone! xoxo
